Aware of the ecological challenges that climate change confronts us with, we wish to continue offering sustainable alternatives that reduce the environmental impact of packaging materials.

the origins

Our story began in the 1970s when Bruno Chinello, with the collaboration of his wife Emilia, handcrafted bags for bread, flour and coffee, as well as paper for sugar sachets.

This was just the beginning of the long history of Lineapack Srl, a family business that, over time, has made the constructive link between industrious ingenuity and innovative drive indissoluble. A bond that was strengthened with the entry of sons Damiano, Tiziano, Michele and Pierluigi, as the company gradually grew with the evolving needs of the market.

Since that distant 1974, it has contributed to ‘bagging’ a multitude of products: first with special large and small envelopes for opticians, hospitals, banks and insurance companies; later, as the demand for packaging destined for archiving declined due to the spread of telematic media, with a return to its origins, i.e. the production of envelopes, bags, paper rolls and film for the food sector.

Over the years, it has established itself in the packaging sector for food (link to the food packaging section) and also non-food (link to the other packaging section), offering low environmental impact solutions, many of which are patented.
They are born from a passion for research and commitment to innovation: a passion that has always involved everyone working in the company, from sales staff to technicians and production workers.

Consistency and responsibility are values that belong to our history. In line with our production choices of eco-sustainability, we have marked our company management with respect for the environment. We have equipped ourselves with a high-performance photovoltaic system, installed on the roof of our factory, which generates ‘clean’ energy to cover 80% of our needs; this system contributes to reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, in favour of a healthier and more liveable environment. We will continue to drive change, promoting sustainability at all levels of our organisation.

green quality

The quality of our packaging is green starting with the raw materials, which we test and then select according to precise technical, application and above all environmental standards. We use certified paper, generated from cellulose from responsible forests, with guaranteed traceability and eco-sustainability. We use glues that are almost exclusively water-based, i.e. solvent-free, and therefore compatible with separate waste collection and composting. We print on paper and film with strictly certified water-based inks, guaranteeing first of all reliability and safety, then also print definition, scratch resistance and colour vividness. They are the result of joint research with ink formulators to guarantee the same yield as solvent inks, but also total ecological respect.

Lineapack è sinonimo di eccellenza a partire dalle materie prime, che testiamo e selezioniamo nel rispetto di precisi standard tecnici, applicativi e soprattutto ambientali.

Utilizziamo esclusivamente materiali controllati, dai requisiti “green”:

• tutte le carte sono certificate PEFC e FSC, ovvero generate da cellulosa proveniente da foreste responsabili, garantite nella tracciabilità ed ecosostenibilità

• le colle sono quasi esclusivamente a base d’ acqua, ovvero prive di solventi, quindi compatibili con la raccolta differenziata e il compostaggio

• gli inchiostri per la stampa su carta e film sono tutti a base d’acqua, dotati di certificazioni, a garanzia di assoluta affidabilità e sicurezza. Selezionati presso fornitori leader italiani in base a parametri di elevata definizione di stampa, resistenza al graffio e vividezza cromatica, sono il risultato di una ricerca congiunta con i formulatori di inchiostri per garantire la medesima resa degli inchiostri a solvente, ma totale rispetto ecologico.

L’intera gestione della produzione è improntata a responsabilità sociale ed ambientale. Basti pensare che l’80% del nostro fabbisogno energetico è coperto da energia “pulita”, prodotta grazie ad un impianto fotovoltaico ad alto rendimento, installato sulla copertura del nostro stabilimento, che contribuisce ad abbattere le emissioni di CO2 in atmosfera, a favore di un ambiente più sano e vivibile.

ISO 9001:2008

La certificazione, ottenuta da Lineapack nel 2010, attesta che il sistema di gestione della qualità adottato in azienda rispetta gli standard normativi internazionali ISO 9001.

PEFC o FSC

Le certificazioni garantiscono che la carta utilizzata da Lineapack proviene da foreste controllate, gestite responsabilmente secondo rigorosi standard ambientali, sociali ed economici di livello internazionale.

Thanks to state-of-the-art management software, we trace every single component used from the beginning to the end of production, right up to packaging, in order to be able to identify any non-conformities and intervene promptly to
resolve any problems.
